Just retired as Sr. Vice President and Head of Eastern Region at Blue Dart Express Ltd, he was responsible for the growth of Blue Dart in the East. Under his guardianship the sales volumes had grown manifold and today Amod is a person of great reckoning in his field and a mentor to many. Blue Dart Express also gave him the additional responsibility of developing the National Channel Sales.
Amod brings with him an Industry experience of 35+ years having worked with various industry verticals like FMCG, Chemicals, Ground Transportation, Express Logistics and Distribution. In each of these segments he has left a mark and is respected in all organisations he has been associated with. Amod has been an active member of various industry forums like CII and EICI.
Gold Medalist in Master of Business Administration in Finance, he has worked with IBM prior to founding his own company, Karmick Solutions Pvt Ltd. Sourav's brain child has contributed significantly to the IT Industry and now has a global presence, providing IT enabled services for over a decade in Europe, USA, UK, Australia, Middle East and India. Over the years the company has expanded its operations and today operates out of Kolkata and New York, USA with an employee strength of 130 people.
